Old Cairo

The medieval quarter of Cairo is another important aspect of the city’s history. It provides countless examples of architecture through the ages and includes a number of Coptic Christian monuments. The Church of St. Serguis, the Hanging Church and the Coptic Museum are fine examples of Coptic craftsmanship.
