This walk takes you through the heart of the medieval city, the world of the thousand and one nights, until the 19th century Cairo was encircled by 60 gates, of which only three remain. Bab Zuweila was the principal southern gate and the place of public executions. This tour takes you through delightful alleyways and past exquisite examples of ancient architecture.
